PV components evolution to fit your own specific needs – country workshop

In december 2025, the Energaïa forum took place in Montpellier (France), this event focusses on environmental solutions for territories, cities and industries committed to the energy transition. During the forum, french partners from the Seamless-PV project, CEA and Ines Solar, organized a session part of the country-workshop initiative of the project. Also Manon Mouly from Agriterra and Melodie de l’Epine from Becquerel Institute took part in the event.

In particular, the workshop unveiled PV technologies specifically designed for buildings, agrivoltaics, among other sectors covered by the developments of the Seamless-PV project.

These innovative solutions for designing and manufacturing PV panels dedicated to these uses are being developed in Europe by a consortium of 18 partners.

During this presentations provided by Seamless-PV partners, disclosed innovations in PV technologies related to specific applications.

A general presentation of the project and the evaluation of the markets accessed by our innovation was given, focussing especially on the sectors related to building integration and agrivoltaics.

Then, partners provided some insights in the technologies developed for highly flexible manufacturing. At last, partners described an agrivoltaics application developed in the South of France.
